Marianne Solivan is a highly respected and celebrated jazz vocalist, renowned for her dynamic range, expressive interpretation and improvisational skills. With a career spanning more than two decades, Solivan has established herself as one of the most talented and versatile artists on the New York jazz scene.
With a solid training acquired at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, she has been able to develop her unique style. She has performed in the most prestigious clubs, including Blue Note, Dizzy's, Smoke and Birdland, on numerous occasions and on numerous international tours. Over the years, Solivan has collaborated with many jazz greats, including Christian McBride, Lewis Nash, Peter Bernstein and many others. His sixth leader album, due for release in January 2025, marks his collaboration with bassist Buster Williams. In addition to his work as a performer, Solivan teaches at Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music.
