Lost in dense vegetation, this former papal dependency will charm you with its houses huddled together on the side of the Bluye mountain, amidst the impressive panorama of the Toulourenc Valley. Under its small roof, the old clock at the side of the road gently greets you before leading you to the fountain where a delicious, fresh spring flows, flanked by a curious oval-shaped washhouse dating from 1880.
At the heart of this lively setting, the Saint-Léger church invites you to take a contemplative break. Simple on the outside, its interior reveals a treasure: a picturesque painted décor from another era, a veritable window onto the 19th-century past.
As you leave the village, the 17th-century chapelle Saint-Basile, perched high above the village, offers a view of the peaceful waters of the Toulourenc, once a place of pilgrimage to heal the aches and pains of the little ones.
A land of adventure and discovery, Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux is renowned for its mythical cliff : the Baleine cliff attracts all climbing enthusiasts. Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, bathed in sunshine and rich in natural springs, is a hymn to nature and adventure.
