Come and discover this event, the result of a long-standing winemaking tradition. The program includes a parade of winegrower brotherhoods and Provençal folk groups, the proclamation of the ban, the enthronement, Provençal dances and wine tasting.
On the program:
5pm: Gather at Place de l'Eglise in Haute Ville, accompanied by tambourine-players, dancers, ladies in Provencal dress from the Commanderie des Côtes du Rhône and other winegrowing brotherhoods.
5.15pm: parade to Place du Vieux Marché.
5.30pm: Proclamation of the harvest ban on the Place du Vieux Marché. Inductions by the Grand Master, followed by new Provencal dance performances by the 'Canto Cigalo' group.
Followed by a wine tasting offered by Cave La Romaine and the Voies de la Haute Ville association.
