"A choral journey from Baroque to Classicism". The European Choir, under the musical direction of Pascal Denoyer and accompanied by a large orchestra of 17 musicians, offers you a "Mozart - Coronation Mass" concert in the heart of the Cathedral Church.
The first part of this concert features two works by Johann Adolf Hasse, a major figure in 18th-century Baroque. The concert continues with Mozart as the main theme of the second half. The Choir will honor youth by welcoming Jean Begouaussel, a young singer in training, who will perform Venga Pur, an excerpt from the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto, bringing a lyrical and theatrical touch. We continue with Laudate Dominum, from Vêpres solennelles d'un confesseur, a gentle page, before moving on to the flamboyant Coronation Mass.
