For thirty years in Japan, rigorous scientific curator-restorers of cultural property have been presenting the multi-millennia-old objects they study in imaginary forms. Their re-creations of prehistoric objects have conquered archaeological museums and numerous art centers in Japan.
Two of these conservator-restorers were seduced by the proposal to draw inspiration from objects from the Gallo-Roman culture on display at the Théo Desplans archaeological museum in Vaison-la-Romaine.
