Discovering twinning!

Six communes in Vaison Ventoux Provence are twinned with French or European towns! A sign at the entrance to each commune indicates the name of the twinned town.

Brotherly ties An unconditional friendship

As the saying goes, “like attracts like”, so communes generally join forces around their similarities and specificities…

This union enables us to support various fields: culture, heritage, tourism, education… Links are forged, meetings are multiplied in order to exchange and share the values we hold dear! Inhabitants forge friendly and, above all, lasting relationships that are passed down from generation to generation!

Twinned towns regularly organize cultural events, art exhibitions, artist exchange programs to celebrate and share their cultural heritage, themed trips, trade fairs showcasing local produce… Numerous and varied events to build a harmonious world together!

Twinning on a human scale, where sharing is no longer an issue!

  • Cairanne is twinned with two communes. The first is Flobecq, in Belgium’s Walloon region, in the province of Hainaut. The second is Zdar nad Sazavou, in the Czech Republic, a few kilometers from Jihlava.
  • Crestet is united with Tourzel-Ronzières. This commune is located in France, in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
  • Entrechaux is twinned with Steinbrunn-le-Bas, near Mulhouse in the Haut-Rhin department of the Grand Est region.
  • A Franco-Belgian twinning for Rasteau with the commune of Houyet in the Walloon region in the province of Namur.
  • Séguret is twinned with Longchamps, a Walloon town in the province of Luxembourg.
  • Vaison-la-Romaine is twinned with Martigny. Vaison-la-Romaine is the administrative center of the district of Martigny in the canton of Valais.
