A classical music charity concert featuring cellist Patrick Langot and the Colibris mixed orchestra, made up of deaf and hearing children and professional musicians, conducted by Franck Isoletta.
The fruit of collaboration between the Vaison-based association Le Regard d'Anna and Urapeda Sud (Union régionale des parents d'enfants déficients auditifs), this charity event will feature international cellist Patrick Langot as guest of honor. He will be accompanied by Les Colibris, a mixed orchestra including deaf and hearing children and professional musicians. The Marseilles-based ensemble will be under the direction of Franck Isoletta. . 1st part of the program with Patrick Langot solo: Klengel's "Prelude from the Suite in D minor for solo cello", "Dialoguo" from Ligeti's "Sonata for solo cello", "Preludio-Fantasia" from Cassadó's "Suite for solo cello", three "Preludes for solo cello" by Gubaidulina; Bach's "Suite for solo cello n.1 in G major". . 2nd part with Les Colibris and Patrick Langot: "Le Cygne" by Saint-Saëns, "Valse sentimentale" by Tchaikovsky. . 3rd part with Les Colibris: "Un monde fantastique", "Premier pas", "Pas de côté", "Pas de deux", "Danse des zouaves", "Robert Wood", "Titan", "Allez salut" (all pieces written by Frédéric Isoletta except "Titan", arranged after Mahler's symphony).
