Georges is a passionate winegrower in harmony with nature, and his estate is farmed organically. He welcomes you to Rasteau in a cellar with a magnificent view, where technology, empiricism and humanity coexist in peace.
I discovered my passion for the land with my maternal grandmother in her vegetable garden. And it was meeting Delphine in 1991 that enabled me to begin my career as a winemaker. I worked for a few years with my father-in-law to learn the trade.
In 2000, I found myself at the head of a 15-hectare estate, from which I continue to deliver grapes to the Cave Coopérative.
In 2002, a winegrower friend rented me his old cellar and I began to vinify 5 ha of Côtes du Rhône. With Delphine, we created Domaine La Collière.
Aware that to make quality products it's important to have the right tools, in 2018 we built a workspace overlooking our vineyard. The 500 m2 cellar is equipped with traditional concrete and stainless steel vats, as well as half muids and two concrete eggs.
The meticulous work carried out in the vineyards, the rigorous selection of grapes made possible by manual harvesting, and the quality of our equipment mean that I can intervene as little as possible during the vinification process. Each resulting wine offers a delicate balance of refinement and complexity.
The elegant structure of the Rasteau and Côtes du Rhône wines makes them ideal for ageing, with great freshness.
Our current range includes :
3 Rasteau red / 2 Côtes du Rhône (red and white) / 2 vins de France red / 2 vin doux naturel (garnet and amber) / 1 IGP Vaucluse white.
Today, we're keen to share our passion with as many people as possible, so we organize walks through our vineyards, visits to our winery and tastings. During the summer months, we also organize three evening events, each with a different theme, but always with good humor and a view of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, to delight the eyes as well as the taste buds.
