Andrew Talbot is a master of hyperrealist painting. He exhibits some 40 of his works, with originals and limited-edition reproductions, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Buisson Watchtower.
Voted one of the world's top fifteen hyperrealist artists, British painter Andrew Talbot is exhibiting for the first time in Buisson, his home village. From October 11 to 17, the Tour de Guet will host some forty of his works, true illusions of reality.
Transforming a few pigments and a brush into a fragment of life: such is the feat of Andrew Talbot, master of hyperrealism.

Born in the north-west of England, the artist swapped the milking machine for a pencil in his teens: "At 13, I realized that I'd rather draw cows than milk them," he confides humorously.
Trained at Loughborough Fine Art College, Andrew Talbot has built an international career over the last twenty years, punctuated by numerous distinctions, including an enviable place in the Top 15 of the world's best hyperrealist artists. His canvases, exhibited for two decades at the Beckstones gallery in England, have won over a public of art lovers and collectors, who are captivated by the precision of his line and the poetry of his light.

At Buisson, some forty works will be on display: six oil-on-wood originals and some thirty limited-edition reproductions. The public will discover his favorite themes: still lifes, portraits, farm animals or interior scenes, where light, transparency and chiaroscuro are his hallmarks. Certain compositions plunge the viewer into small narrative worlds where memories and emotions intertwine.
Having recently settled in Provence, Andrew Talbot now wants to anchor his life and career here: "It's important for me to exhibit in Buisson, now my heartland. I want to develop my life here with my family", he stresses.
