We offer an introduction to riding a gyropod (Segway), an unusual and fun device, and enable our customers to visit Montbrun and the surrounding area, effortlessly, on a guided tour.
- Initiation on private land: discovery of the gyropod, hands-on exercises, moving forward/stopping, reversing, slaloms, passing obstacles...
- For children: various fun activities, throwing games, precision exercises...
- Rides: after the initiation, routes of increasing difficulty around Montbrun classified from ★ (easy access) to ★★★★ (technical route requiring a good mastery of the machine and a good physical condition).
The gyropod is easy to use, even for beginners: simply stand on the platform and lean forward to move forward, or lean back to brake or reverse. You don't need any particular sense of balance: the machine is self-stabilizing!
Versatile and adapted to all types of terrain, its design enables it to overcome obstacles. It's at ease on uneven paths, offering great freedom of movement.
Electrically powered, it's an environmentally-friendly means of transport. It produces no polluting emissions, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
Using a gyropod puts a slight strain on the muscles, particularly the legs and abdominals, making it a light physical activity that keeps you active while you're on the move.
Maximum number of participants :
- For Initiations (on private land): 6 people over 12 + 2 children under 12.
- For Circuits and Walks: 6 people over 12. In accordance with regulations, children under 12 years of age may not take part in activities on public roads.
Sports shoes or flat shoes are recommended.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with balance problems.
Safety :
All mandatory safety equipment is provided (helmets and protective gear). All our activities and tours are supervised by a guide. It is not possible to rent the gyropods outside the services offered.
The duration of our tours includes a compulsory introduction to the gyropod. The price includes the loan of compulsory safety equipment and machines.
