
The André Thès multimedia library will be immersing you in Mexican culture for a festive and colorful day! Creative workshops, concerts, board games, screenings, storytelling - there's something for everyone, and it's all free.
On the program:
. 10am - 11am: 'Calavera' mask workshop
Immerse yourself in the colorful world of the Festival of the Dead (Día de Muertos) by creating your own calavera mask (Mexican skull and crossbones).
Ages 6 and up. Registration required.
. 10am - 12pm: Mexican board games and snack
In parallel with the morning's activities, continue the journey with board games that will introduce you to Mexican culture in a fun way. Around 11 a.m., you'll be offered a snack
flavors from elsewhere.
Ages 10 and up.
. 10:30am - 12pm: Mexican music concert
Let yourself be transported by the lively, sunny melodies of Mexico during a concert given by a professional musician.
For all ages.
. 11am: Participatory dance demonstration with Penny de Power.
. 2pm - 4pm: Screening of an animated film
Make yourself comfortable for the screening of a magnificent animated film about the Mexican Day of the Dead. A wonderful opportunity to discover this colorful
full of joy and memories.
Ages 8 and up. Registration required.
Continuous:
- Mexican coloring corner: inspired by Mexican folklore and landscapes, coloring pages are available for creative relaxation.
- Reading area: explore a selection of books for all ages on Mexico (its legends, history, cuisine, customs and much more).
Come in costume! Whether you're a mariachi, a Frida Kahlo, a catrina or some other colorful outfit, don't hesitate to come in costume to make the day even more festive!
