The Lyon Opera Ballet performs "Mycelium" by choreographer Christos Papadopoulos. Fascinated by the inventiveness of nature, which creates a profusion of forms, movements and structures, he has created an organic dance based on these natural processes.
A dance that transforms the way bodies interact and organize themselves, and broadens our perception of how they relate to each other.

Based on simple movements of the human body, we develop trance-like states involving all the senses, in a multi-dimensional aesthetic immersion.

For "Mycelium", Christos Papadopoulos drew his inspiration precisely from the complex structure of fungal circuits running beneath the earth - transmitting influxes, weaving links with tree roots - to model a network of interactions, contacts and sensations circulating between twenty dancers, supported by the music of Coti K.

Using micro-movements, rhythmic shifts, repetitive structures and infinitesimal variations, the performers of "Mycelium" connect through an infinite number of invisible endings, unfolding the sensitive web of their dance to create a moving collective entity.

Ticket office opens at Vaison Ventoux Provence Tourist Office on March 30, 2026.
