One of the finest examples of Provençal Romanesque art, inspired by ancient architectural models, it features a curious triangular apse.
Dedicated to the town's patron saint, it was built in the second half of the 12th century on a site occupied in Roman times by a necropolis.
Note the finely decorated columns and pilasters, topped by magnificent acanthus-leaf capitals supporting an impressive antique-style entablature with cornice frieze.
Visits only on request from the town's Heritage Department on 04 90 36 50 48 or during events organized in the chapel.
