1. The whale site near Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux

La Baleine is an emblematic limestone cliff in the Toulourenc Valley at Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux. With 500 routes ranging from 6a to 8c, it is a world reference for climbing enthusiasts. The site offers a unique experience, with a preference for climbing on the south face in winter and on the north face for shade in summer.

The routes offer great diversity, from colonnettes to holes, from flats to water drops… This site has various inclines, challenging climbing enthusiasts. However, La Baleine is recommended for more experienced climbers, as it is renowned for its difficulty.


2. The Dentelles de Montmirail

The Dentelles de Montmirail, made up of three distinct chains: Grand Travers, Gigondas and Clapis, offer a breathtaking spectacle. The Gigondas chain is distinguished by its three distinct ridges: Crête de la Pousterle, Crête du Turc and Crête des Florets.

With its numerous climbing routes, the Dentelles de Montmirail offers an incomparable playground for climbers of all abilities. With its unique rock formations and breathtaking panoramas, the Dentelles offer breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley vineyards and Mont Ventoux.

3. The three rivers near Entrechaux

The Trois Rivières site, located in Entrechaux, a small Provencal village in the Vaison Ventoux Provence region, features a series of cliffs divided into two main areas: the historic sector and the more recent sector.

With 239 routes ranging from 10 to 30 meters, the site offers a varied climbing experience, suitable for beginners and experienced climbers alike. The routes, mainly dominated by slabs and steep walls, also offer challenges with rulers and more technical sectors, including a big overhang sector with roof passages for the most daring.
