Description
Acrobatic dance solo “Miettes” with Jules Sadoughi, presented by the Centre Dramatique des Villages.
“A body traversing time, caught between wear and tear, fragility, and the zest for life.”
A body falls, gets back up, and starts over. But time itself never turns back. In *Miettes*, Jules Sadoughi transforms acrobatics into a medium for memory: scars, forgotten moments, wounds, dust—everything that the years leave behind on our bodies becomes movement. At times aged, hampered, almost defeated; at others, filled with childlike energy, the body seems to embody every age at once. Here, virtuosity does not seek feats of strength but rather the place where resistance still remains.
Straddling dance and circus, *Miettes* composes a physical poem about what crumbles and what remains. Aging, then, is less about disappearing than about stubbornly learning to stand tall.
