In 1998, the vineyard had 17 hectares of old vines but no facilities for making wine. So a new winery, equipped with the latest technology and built to the highest standards, was built and completed in 2000.
The hillside vineyard, nestling at an altitude of 350 metres, is rooted in soil made up mainly of clay and limestone, which, combined with its microclimate, gives this area a terroir of unique quality. Thanks to a combination of natural and organic farming techniques - known as ‘agriculture raisonnée’ - and traditional, yet sophisticated, winemaking methods, the result is a well-structured wine with fruity aromas and intense colours.
