Description
Discover the story of A. Aubéry and his sons during World War I through a guided walking tour in Savoillan, organized by Ventoux Nature & Terroir and led by Françoise Thurel.
The meeting place will be provided upon reservation.
After several months of historical research, Françoise Thurel, a tour guide with Ventoux Nature & Terroir, invites you to join her for a walking tour and talk in Savoillan (84) as part of the November 11 commemorations. During this short walking tour through the village, visiting the places where Adrien Aubéry and his sons lived, you’ll discover their way of life and learn how and why five members of the same family found themselves serving in World War I—and what became of them.
