Yoyo Ich: Trompe-l'œil linking covers and visuals
Behind this mischievous pseudonym hides a strange bird. A tightrope walker of the visible, a lunar character balancing on a tightrope between reality and the mental space of abstraction. His backgrounds, conceived as abstract compositions, initially live their own lives. Until the day when a piece of the real comes along. Carina Istre
For this exhibition, I'll be offering vinyl record sleeves on which I'll be intervening pictorially, in a style I'm particularly fond of: humor and poetry...
Gipé: Presentations of 33 rpm sculptures
My sculptures are born of the osmosis between listening to music and thinking about art. As early as 1994, I decided to hijack the 33 rpm record, then abandoned for digital format, in order to honor this culture.
