"Land of Inspiration" Exhibition

THE EXHIBITION: Painters, photographers, sculptors, illustrators… “Terre d’Inspiration” brings together artists with diverse creative worlds and sensibilities. Colors, textures, shapes, light, and images interplay throughout the exhibition, offering many different ways to view our region. A diverse group of artists and artistic practices, united by a common theme: a living, bountiful, and deeply inspiring land. Exhibition runs from Monday, October 12, to Saturday, November 21, 2026. Free admission Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Closed: October 15, as well as November 11 and 19) THE DRAWING CONTEST: As part of “Terre d’Inspiration,” young artists are invited to turn their gaze toward Vaison Ventoux Provence: a landscape, a village, a color, a memory, a silhouette, a piece of heritage, or a detail that catches your eye… The “Terre d’Inspiration” drawing contest is open to elementary, middle, and high school students, with a prize for each grade level. So, grab your pencils, markers, paintbrushes, pastels, and more: it’s up to you to create a piece that captures your vision of Vaison Ventoux Provence! (A4 size on Canson paper). Head to the Vaison Ventoux Provence Tourist Office to drop off your entry in the box by Saturday, November 21, at the latest, and wait for the selection of the best drawing in each category. (The jury, composed of representatives from the organizing committee and professionals from the arts and culture sectors, will select a winner in each category). Prizes awarded in each of the three categories: - Elementary school: A book donated by A+C Galerie - Middle school: An art gift certificate donated by Galerie des Limonadiers - High school: An illustration published on the cover of Fifrelin magazine Winners will be contacted by phone and may pick up their prize directly at the Tourist Office. This contest is free to enter and requires no purchase. The rules are available online or at the reception desk of the Vaison Ventoux Provence Tourist Office. MEET THE ARTISTS: The artists will be present at the exhibition in October from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays, the 24th and 31st, and in November from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays, the 7th and 14th. This is an opportunity to discover the works in a new light, ask questions, get to know the artists who created them… and perhaps, in turn, see Vaison Ventoux Provence with a fresh perspective.
