Luc Ta Van Thinh painting exhibition - La Chapelle des Arts

Luc Ta Van Thinh : Painter The Light of Hope In the spring of this year 2026, in a world a little disoriented, but where my grandson Bernhard (which means "valiant bear" in Norwegian!) is happily approaching his second year, I have decided to present, in the Chapelle des Pénitents de Mollans, works turned towards Hope. Indeed, the public will be able to see many paintings never shown before, recent or older, but bathed, I hope, in the inner Light of the Incarnate Christ. Several, in particular, revolve around the theme of the Motherhood of the Virgin and the Holy Spirit. And last but not least, just completed... a very colorful set on the theme of the Tree of Life, so endangered today. At the heart of this pictorial work, discreetly accompanying me from heaven, is Maître Enguerrand Quarton, an emblematic figure of the fifteenth-century Ecole d'Avignon, who has already "whispered in my ear" (or so I like to think!) three books on his mystical painting. More current and alive than ever. I hope the public who discover this exhibition and these new books won't be too disappointed. On the contrary, they will leave with their hearts filled with sweet hope.
