Description
Between lectures and whistled duels, impromptu discussions with the audience, and musical collaborations with the saxophonist, the bird singers share their knowledge with you and transport you into their world.
Jean Boucault and Johnny Rasse are two nature lovers who are passionate about birds and their poetry. Imitating their songs quickly became second nature, a game, and a passion. They then sought to refine their gift musically to turn it into an art form and become true bird singers.
With humor and educational insight, these “bird sound artists” introduce audiences to various species of birds—their habits, their love lives, and their strategies for courtship or intimidation—through the nuances of their songs, which they reproduce with virtuosity.
