Sakura's World: Between traditional Japan and the landscapes of Provence, to the sound of the ukulele.

In the heart of the medieval town of Vaison-la-Romaine, come discover the world of Sakura—the creations of Elie and Laura—a cultural and exotic journey through paintings, sculptures, and manga. Sakura creates a dialogue between Provence and the landscapes of Japan and Korea; fields of lavender and Mont Ventoux stand side by side with the Miyajima Shrine, Himeji Castle, the elegant geisha of Kyoto, and famous manga! In this intimate gallery, nestled inside a cave, you’ll find a family-run exhibition where a mother and daughter sometimes engage in a dialogue through their respective works. You’ll receive an “educational-style” welcome, accompanied by the sound of the ukulele! We can’t wait to meet you!
