Le Café citoyen invites you to another year of meetings, exchanges and debates open to all, with a program of 8 conferences throughout the year.
Café Citoyen is resuming its activities for the 2026–2027 season. We look forward to welcoming speakers who are as diverse as they are engaging, to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time, to the enriching discussions on topics that are always important, and to the friendly atmosphere during the shared buffet.
The schedule for the 2026–2027 season has been finalized. Dates may still change; you will be notified of any updates.
Admission is free, but you can support us by joining the association with an annual membership fee of €10 or €30.
- September 24, 2026, at the Espace Culturel at 6:00 p.m.: “COMBATING GENDER-BASED AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE: Reflections on Patriarchy, Control, and the Role of Public Services” by the association “Oser le féminisme,” Pauline Charvey, author of “La bascule,” and the collective of elected women “Femmes, des citoyennes à part entière.”
- October 29, 2026, at the Espace Culturel at 6:00 p.m.: “PSYCHOANALYSIS IN THE VOTING BOOTH: Unconscious Motivations” by Susann Heenen Wolff, psychoanalyst, professor of psychology, and author of “Against Normativity in Psychoanalysis ”
- December 17, 2026, at the Espace Culturel, 6:00 p.m.: “ADAPTING OUR CITIES TO CLIMATE CHANGE” by Hervé Guillon, urban planner and city council member of Vaison-la-Romaine.
- January 28, 2027, at the Espace Culturel, 6:00 p.m.: “THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY” by Vincent HALLE, IT systems consultant and volunteer at the Vaison-la-Romaine recycling center.
- February 18, 2027, at the Espace Culturel, 6:00 p.m.: “WITH OR WITHOUT PESTICIDES?” by Céline PELOSI, director of agroecology research at INRAE in Avignon.
- March 25, 2027, at the Espace Culturel, 6:00 p.m.: “RENEWABLE ENERGY: WITH OR WITHOUT NUCLEAR POWER?” by Alain VOLLE, representative of the Greenpeace Montélimar group and member of CLIGEET.
- May 27, 2027, at the Espace Culturel at 6:00 p.m.: "Toward Food Sovereignty" by Lalie CHAVE, student at Sciences Po Paris.
A lecture and discussion is planned with MARC DUFUMIER, a professor and researcher in agroecology; the date will be announced shortly.
