'Land of Inspiration' Exhibition

Vaison Ventoux Provence, a land that inspires artists

When art meets a region, works are born that draw inspiration from its landscapes, heritage and spirit. Through the ‘Terre d’Inspiration’ exhibition, discover the creations of artists – partners of the Tourist Office – who offer a sensitive perspective on Vaison Ventoux Provence. An invitation to see art in a new light, through emotion, sharing and creativity. From 12 October to 21 November 2026, this exhibition brings together painters, photographers, sculptors and artists through their perspectives on a region with a thousand faces.

 One region, a thousand perspectives

Vaison Ventoux Provence Tourist Office is launching the ‘Terre d’Inspiration’ exhibition this year, an event entirely dedicated to art. For the first time, local artists are coming together to stage a joint exhibition at the heart of the Tourist Office.

Sometimes all it takes is a ray of light on ancient stones, a path winding through the vineyards, the silhouette of Mont Ventoux on the horizon, or a hilltop village to stir the emotions.

Here, the landscapes tell stories. The colours change with the passing hours, the seasons reveal new contours, and every detour offers a fresh perspective on the region. ‘ Vaison Ventoux Provence ’ is to be contemplated, felt… and transformed into a work of art.

With ‘Terre d’Inspiration’, artists are invited to share their own perspective on this unique land. Painting, photography, sculpture, drawing… each expresses in their own way what moves, challenges or inspires them.

For there is no single way to look at a landscape. There is the artist’s perspective, the visitor’s, the local’s… and all the personal stories that emerge when our gazes meet.

Step into the exhibition, let yourself be surprised by these unique perspectives and discover Vaison Ventoux Provence in a different light: through the eyes of those who make this a land of creativity.

The artists’ exhibition

An art, an emotion, a legacy

At the heart of the Tourist Office Vaison Ventoux Provence, the exhibition unfolds as a living work of art. Painters, photographers, sculptors, illustrators… ‘Terre d’Inspiration’ brings together artists with a wide range of artistic worlds and sensibilities. Each artist chooses their own language, technique and creative approach to express what moves and inspires them about ‘ Vaison Ventoux Provence ’.

Colours, materials, shapes, light and images thus interplay throughout the exhibition, offering a wealth of ways to view our region. A diverse range of artists and artistic practices, united by a common thread: a living, bountiful and deeply inspiring land.

From Monday 12 October to Saturday 21 November 2026.

Free admission from Monday to Saturday, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm (Closed: 15 October and 11 and 19 November)

‘A landscape inspires as much through what it shows us as through what it makes us feel. Here, everyone sees the landscape in their own way. Artists transform it into colours, shapes, images and, above all, emotions.’
