Traditional trick-or-treating is becoming an increasingly common feature of Halloween. Every 31 October, in the afternoon and evening, the streets are filled with dozens of children in fancy dress, each one scarier than the last. But what if, this year, the shops in Vaison-la-Romaine were to offer you an even more fun-filled experience? And, best of all, for four whole days!?

Little adventurers and big sweet-toothed ones, set off in search of the unusual items hidden in the shop windows and inside our partner shops. Once you’ve collected your goody bag from the Tourist Office Vaison Ventoux Provence, you’re off on an unforgettable Grand Quest that’ll let you discover the area’s lovely shops, sharpen your powers of observation, and fill your bag with treats and sweets! Feel free to take part in this Quest in fancy dress: because, rest assured, if you manage to give the shopkeepers a bit of a fright, they might just give you a few clues!

From 28 to 31 October, set off on an adventure in Vaison-la-Romaine with “The Great Sweet Hunt”! A fun and tasty game that will delight young and old alike.

How to take part?

Head to the Tourist Office Vaison Ventoux Provence, the starting point for this quest. Armed with your quest booklet and your goody bag, set off to meet the participating shopkeepers, who have surprise challenges in store for you. At each stage:

✅ An unusual object to spot in the shop window or inside the shop
✅ Some sweets or treats to fill your goody bag

Combining heritage discovery, moments of togetherness and sweet treats, this Sweet Treasure Hunt is a wonderful opportunity to (re)discover Vaison Ventoux Provence in a whole new way.
