Tour de France

A story of cycling and villages… and Mont Ventoux

A buzz in the streets, waving flags, the sound of cheering… Whenever the Tour de France passes through, Vaison Ventoux Provence falls in step with the Grande Boucle. From village to village, the peloton rides through our magnificent landscapes before reaching the mountain that watches over the region: Mont Ventoux.

A sporting event, but above all a moment of togetherness that brings people together and creates lasting memories.

Enthusiasm always on time!

In 2019, Vaison Ventoux Provence welcomed the Tour de France peloton with enthusiasm. The streets were filled with a sea of waving flags and beaming smiles as the riders tackled the picturesque roadsof our region.

In 2021, the riders tackled the steep slopes of the Géant de Provence. The epic climb was one of the highlights of the Tour de France.

The summer of 2025 marked the return of the Tour de France to the Vaucluse department with a summit finish on Mont Ventoux!

In 2026, the ‘ Vaison Ventoux Provence ’ destination shone once again on the international stage! Two exceptional days for all cycling enthusiasts, with the ‘Etape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift’ on 6 August and, on 7 August, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift peloton passing through Buisson, Roaix, Séguret and Sablet… just before setting off for Mont Ventoux!
