Prices vary according to the series chosen. A discount is applied to the normal rate for 4 shows or more, depending on the series. Reduced rate: upon presentation of proof of age (under 18s). Youth rate: applied to children up to 16 years of age. Children’s ages may be checked when tickets are issued and at the entrance to the show. Vaisonnais rate: on sale only at the Vaison-la-Romaine Tourist Office and on presentation of proof of address when purchasing tickets.

The following are permitted: water bottles of less than 50 cl, bags (maximum 20 litres), cushions and blankets. Shows start at 10pm: access to the stands is possible from 9pm. A reception and seating team is on hand to help you find your way around the theatre. Toilet facilities are available inside the ancient theatre.

People with reduced mobility

Access and assistance are reserved for people with reduced mobility. Seats are reserved on an adapted platform and for accompanying persons, with a limit of one accompanying person per person with reduced mobility. 1.Friday 10 July "Core Meu - Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo

Core Meu' combines sensuality and collective power, carried by the spellbinding rhythms of the tamburello. Jean-Christophe Maillot's choreography builds in intensity to a Dionysian finale in which the dancers collapse in one breath. A vibrant celebration of intoxication and the origins of dance.

The 2026 edition of the Vaison Danses Festival will be staged from 10 to 26 July for a series of exceptional evenings in the heart of the ancient theatre of Vaison-la-Romaine. The festival celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026!

Vaison Danses at the Nymphée

Alongside the main performances, the festival also offers an ‘OFF’ section. These include dance workshops, conferences, meetings with artists, mega-gigas bars in the city, masterclasses and more. These activities give audiences the chance to deepen their understanding of dance and interact with professionals in the field.

History of the Festival

This high-quality festival has been celebrating dance in this prestigious setting since 1996. Maurice Béjart and Carolyn Carlson opened the first edition.

Pierre-François Heuclin is currently artistic director of the Vaison Danses festival. Year after year, he strives to perpetuate an eclectic, high-quality festival and create an unforgettable experience for all lovers of the performing arts!

An association called ‘Les Amis de Vaison Danses’ has even been set up to support the festival.
