*A Woman Beyond Redemption* chronicles the life of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, who was assassinated on October 7, 2006, and is regarded as a heroic figure in the fight for press freedom. Undefeasible, she defied a violent regime and dark forces. A highly topical subject!

'Femme non rééducable' chronicles the life of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, who was assassinated on October 7, 2006, and is regarded as a heroic figure in the fight for press freedom. The play is the diary of an incorruptible reporter defying a violent regime and dark geopolitical stakes. A topic that remains as relevant as ever! Anna Politkovskaya worked for Novaya Gazeta, one of Russia’s last independent media outlets. In the early 2000s, she investigated the war in Chechnya. Despite the violence of the conflict and the numerous threats against her, Anna continued to produce analyses, interviews, and eyewitness accounts. Her reporting debunked state propaganda. She was assassinated on October 7, 2006. The whole world came to appreciate her courage and her commitment to the truth. Fifteen years later, in the fall of 2021, the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta received the Nobel Peace Prize. He dedicated it, in particular, to the six reporters on his staff who had been murdered in recent years.
