The Pôle Patrimoine et Archéologie de la Ville has teamed up with the Université pour Tous to offer a lecture on ancient music by Christophe Vendries, Professor of Roman History at Rennes 2 University.
This conference is a continuation of the educational activities organized by the town for Vaisonnais schoolchildren on the theme of ancient music.
Since the start of the school year, guide-lecturers from the town's Heritage and Archaeology Department have been welcoming elementary school pupils to help them discover this little-known aspect of ancient culture through the museum's collections. A project is also being carried out on this theme with a Latin class and the CHAM class from the Joseph d'Arbaud secondary school, as part of the "La classe, l'œuvre!" program, the results of which will be presented at the European Museum Night in May.
