Joséphine Morin Bartsch - Sculptor, “Artisan of Earth and Dreams.”
Born in the heart of the Drôme region in 1965, I now sculpt life in the privacy of my studio. My work is a quest for spontaneity: whether I’m shaping clay, carving soft stone, or combining natural elements I find on my walks, I seek the perfect composition—one that arises from instinct rather than deliberation.
This love of materials extends to textiles. I create appliqué tapestries, blending linen, silk, and other fabrics to produce vibrant interplays of textures. My entire creative world is infused with themes that are dear to me: the tenderness of friendship, the strength of motherhood, and the beauty of movement.
