Painting - Sculpture
Sylvette Dauchet - Painter, “La Lumière en Héritage”:
A graduate of the School of Fine Arts and deeply immersed in the atmosphere of Provence, Sylve has made painting the sole driving force of her life. For her, the act of painting is above all an impulse of the heart, an intimate communion with the canvas where the calm of the studio meets the vibration of light. Inspired by the brilliance of Nicolas de Staël, her work is a quest for the absolute and for serenity. Straddling abstraction and subtle figuration, she sculpts color to extract its musicality, transforming the verticality of trees into visual poetry. Through her interplay of transparencies and dynamic brushstrokes, the paint thickens; Stil de Grain blue mingles with cobalt, and the complexity of the world fades away, leaving room only for the Essence: a dazzling, liberated inner journey toward perfect balance.
Jean-François Coron - Sculptor “L’Âme des Volumes”:
As a builder of the intangible, I have long worked alongside the giants of concrete and glass, collaborating with great architects. From this life dedicated to structure, I have retained a taste for balance, but I have chosen to unleash its emotion. Thus, beginning in 2016, I set out to give form to totems, sculptures, and wall pieces, where charred wood becomes material, relief, and presence. Under my hands, fire does not destroy: it reveals the organic depth and memory of the fibers. My works are resting places for the eye and the mind, an invitation to rediscover, in the simplicity of the forms and the intensity of the black, the essential harmony of the world
