Description
Bernard Sorbier has decided to welcome his audience to his estate in Provence, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The troubadour guides you along the trails and performs excerpts from his songs. At the end of the storytelling walk, he shares a meal with the hikers.
The experience with poet-guide Bernard Sorbier begins at the little cottage that his great-grandfather bought by candlelight and converted into a welcoming space for his wandering guests—lovers of words, food, and good cheer. For about an hour and a half, the author and actor serves as both guide and storyteller—at times burlesque, at times tender—amidst oak trees, vineyards, and olive groves.
This colorful troubadour performs short excerpts from his many shows inspired by rural life and the local countryside. Over the past 20 years, he has given more than 1,000 performances in theaters and venues both conventional and unconventional. Now, he performs at (his) home. This artistic and bucolic stroll takes place on the hills above the charming village of Mollans-sur-Ouvèze, overlooking the northern slope of Mont Ventoux. At the end of this joyful escapade—in the open-air theater surrounded by olive trees or in the shed, depending on the weather—the words will be complemented by a shared meal and drinks, all sourced from the local region.
