There are three brothers, each married to a wife with a very different personality… Franky, one of the brothers, invites the other two couples to a festive evening. The dinner is off to a good start, but it turns out that a certain Talia—a lovely young woman—is also invited to this gathering, which was supposed to be a family affair. Panic sets in among the three brothers, who eventually admit that all three of them know Talia. Suspicion arises among the three “sisters-in-law,” who receive only vague explanations… But when Talia arrives, the truth finally comes out, causing irreversible damage—much to our delight! This hilarious comedy by Eric Assous takes us into the heart of tense and complex marital and family situations. The hallmarks of boulevard theater are present, but without any vulgarity. We laugh a lot at the behavior of these characters, who are both ridiculous and endearing because of their weaknesses and their humanity. The script is effective, and the dialogue is full of humor and, at times, scathing.
