Les Automnales en Vaison Ventoux

• Wednesday October 2, 7pm: “La placétanou” in Villedieu (Place de la Libération)
  • A “auberge espagnole” to meet up, chat, eat, drink, laugh… Everyone brings something to eat, drink and share.
• Saturday, October 5 at 6pm: “Roaix se raconte… veillée autour du feu” ( Roaix tells its own story) next to the Mairie de Roaix (in collaboration with Rasteau).
  • Outdoors, weather permitting, or in the Salle des Associations, songs, stories and childhood memories from the old and not-so-old on the theme of childhood in the streets or at school in Roaix can be shared by all. And to round things off, we’ll be serving mulled wine, chocolate, roasted chestnuts and soup.
• Saturday October 12 from 3pm: “Belote automnale” in Savoillans (village square)
  • A coinche competition followed by a free aperitif and a packed lunch around the brazier. The Comité des Fêtes is also offering a plate of tartiflette or anchoïade salad for just 10€.
• Saturday, October 19 from 5pm: “Au coin du feu: festival musique classique et castagnade” at Buisson (place de Verdun)
  • After a reading followed by a classical music concert in the Buisson church as part of the fabulous Page Blanche Festival, participants gather around the fire to share a castagnade or enjoy the Bistrot de Buisson special (soup + dessert).

A quiz will also give you the chance to challenge neighboring villages to a friendly contest based on your knowledge of the area!

• Saturday November 9: “Les Marcellinois en feu” at Saint-Marcellin-lès-Vaison (sports field)
  • After pooling all the ingredients to make a lovely shared aperitif, participants are invited by the Comité des Fêtes to enjoy a fine meal with a festive musical backdrop, and marvel at a surprise show around the fire!
• Thursday November 21 at 6pm: “L’Automnale de Bacchus” in Vaison-la-Romaine (new venue: Espace Culturel Patrick Fabre)
  • Do you like the Nuit de Bacchus (Bacchus Night) held in July on the ancient site of La Villasse? You’ll love Automnale de Bacchus: same concept, different venue! This time, the Espace Culturel Patrick Fabre opens its doors to you for a memorable evening of Jeunes Agriculteurs wine tasting, fine cheese and charcuterie platters, and hot dishes set to a musical backdrop.
• Friday November 22 at 8pm: “Soupe au chaudron d’antan” at Saint-Roman-de-Malegarde (salle des fêtes)
  • This evening will delight fans of the Festival des Soupes, which has thrilled our region for many years. The first part of the evening will be devoted to soup, with a free tasting of soups, broths and veloutés concocted by village residents, who will compete to elect the best soup! Those wishing to continue the evening can reserve a meal in advance with the Comité des fêtes (€12).
• Saturday November 23 at 6pm: “Soirée Vin Nouveau” at Cairanne (Cave de Cairanne)
  • An evening proposed by the Cave de Cairanne and the Mairie to introduce you to vin nouveau, enjoy a good meal and share around the brazier. Details of this surprise event will be revealed shortly…

• Saturday December 7, 6pm: “Tous en Jeux” at Mollans-sur-Ouvèze (Salle du Bicentenaire)
  • The charming village of Mollans-sur-Ouvèze invites you to a festive get-together in two parts: a “board games” evening followed by a shared meal (everyone brings something to share, with the option of using the brazier).
• Friday December 13 from 5pm: “La Fête des Lumières” in Saint-Romain-en-Viennois (village center)
  • The highlight of Automnales en Vaison Ventoux, this evening opens with a lantern parade featuring all the delegations from the villages that took part in Automnales en Vaison Ventoux. The lights will flood the heart of the village, allowing you to marvel at the exhibitions by local artists, delight in the smell of roasting chestnuts (remember to bring your own), tantalize your taste buds with the on-site snacks (all for 1€), and sway to the musical ambience…

The Automnales en Vaison Ventoux 2024 Final will take place on Friday, December 13, at a party in Saint-Romain-en-Viennois! A prize-giving ceremony will honor the villages that have distinguished themselves in the quiz, which will take place from date to date.
